Chunmei Liu at Project Space Plus
Project Space Plus at The University of Lincoln is currently showing mixed media works by Chunmei Liu, in a show entitled ‘Entanglement’. I looked in on the show this past week, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the image making.
From Beijing, Chunmei Liu is an artist currently living in the UK. The artworks include oil painting, ink painting and sculpture. According to the Project Space Plus website, her recent works on paper, using simple stripes and lines, ‘presents the wildest freedom and space on paper’. I admired the quality and detail of the line work on show, which appeared to be pencil work – lovely stuff.
If you’re going to be near the University of Lincoln’s Art, Architecture and Design building in the next few days, this show at Project Space Plus is well worth a look. It’s on until 30 January. More information here: https://projectspacelsad.blogs.lincoln.ac.uk
