Reverse Design has recently completed the design and production of the Transition Town Horncastle website. Based on the Wordpress website and blogging platform, its aim is to encourage the development of a sustainable local community in the Lincolnshire town and provides advice on how to make it happen.

We helped the transition town steering group to choose a suitable basic template, customised it meet their specific needs in terms of content and then provided short training sessions on site maintenance and  content uploads. Wordpress was chosen for its wide variety of templates and ease of use. The particular templated used also featured an image 'carousel' on the home page, allowing users to showcase latest activities and events. 

Reverse Design also added special widgets to the site, including an event calendar and tabbed sidebars, allowing varied content to be displayed within a small area of the screen.
