Sear Balloon Weights are a specialist, Lincolnshire-based manufacturer of injection-moulded party and celebration balloon weights. They already had an established reputation as a trusted manufacturer and supplier to the wholesale trade, but had no recognisable brand presence in their own right.
Sear asked us to create a smart and playful brand identity that reflected their products and to give them the design platform to produce branded collateral for use in print and online, such as in client meetings, at trade shows, trade advertising and within business networks.
This helped Sear to begin creating visibility for the brand. The creation of the identity enabled them to effectively ‘re-launch’ the company into their markets, helping to create associated PR opportunities with trade magazines and other marketing vehicles.
The identity had to be flexible enough to allow for the future addition of new product or service areas (sub-brands). Most importantly, the new identity and its associated brand language reflected the company’s distinctive and tangible attributes:
